Background Edit

Summary::Known as the primordial jellyfish, Zgazdrkrkl is composed of the infinite primal hatred of countless invertebrates towards all the bony creatures of this world. With a DC 25 Knowledge (History) check, you recall that Zgazdrkrkl was created when the gods created bones, and jellyfish felt such disgust at this creation that an elder evil coalesced.

Goals Edit

Zgazdrkrkl has one purpose, and one purpose only: to annihilate bones wherever they are found. Luckily it's not very smart.

Zgazdrkrkl in the Campaign Edit

Zgazdrkrkl drifts aimlessly through the cosmic void, spawning massive waves of minions in its wake. When it arrives at an inhabited planet, it spends some time attempting to annihilate vertebrates from it before wandering on.

Description Edit

Zgazdrkrkl has the appearance of a gigantic jellyfish, hundreds of miles long. Its long tendrils bubble with smaller invertebrates constantly spawning from its flesh, leaving a pinkish trail through the cold darkness of space.

Sign Edit

Sign::Dissolving Bones

Zgazdrkrkl's sign is the annihilation of bones. Only creatures with endo- or exo- skeletons can be affected by it.

Faint: -1 to Natural Armor. This cannot reduce Natural Armor below 0.

Moderate: -3 to Natural Armor and halved carrying capacity.

Strong: -5 to Natural Armor, -2 to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution, and halved carrying capacity.

Overwhelming: Loss of all Natural Armor. Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution reduced to 1.

Malefic Properties Edit

Anathematic Secrecy: Immune to all divine divination spells and effects.

Property: Capable of randomly traveling between planes, and immune to planar effects.

Encounter Information Edit

While not actively destroying a planet, Zgazdrkrkl will drift forwards aimlessly, leaving oozes, octupi, jellyfish, and worms in its wake.
