Just an fyi, the word 'retard' is an abbreviation of 'Mental Retardation', a mental disorder characterized by 'slow' cognition. Although the phrase is deplorable, it does make sense within the English language and the French language (as it is a borrowed word from the French meaning 'to delay'). I don't mean to lecture, just a small tidbit of information.
