Class FeaturesEdit

All of the following are class features of the <-class name->.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: <-description of class weapon & armor proficiencies->.

Fushidara dageki (Ex): When unarmored, a Swordsman may strike with the Fushidara dageki—a flurry of ridiculously fast strikes—at the expense of accuracy. When doing so, he may make one extra attack in a round at his highest base attack bonus, but this attack takes a –2 penalty, as does each other attack made that round. The resulting modified base attack bonuses are shown in the Fushidara dageki Attack Bonus column on Table: The swordsman. This penalty applies for 1 round, so it also affects attacks of opportunity the swordsman might make before his next action. When a swordsman reaches 5th level, the penalty lessens to –1, and at 9th level it disappears. A tenken must use a full attack action to strike with the shukuchi, and the technique can only be used when he is wielding a single melee slashing weapon.

The swordsman's ability to use the Fushidara dageki improves at 11th level. In addition to the standard extra attack he receives, he also gains another extra attack at his highest base attack bonus.

Dextrous defence (Ex): When a swordsman is wearing no armor, he may add double his dexterity modifier to AC as a dodge bonus. (Example: a character with a dexterity modifier of +2 would receive a +4 dodge bonus to his AC. This amounts to the character having a 16 AC without any armor) This bonus disappears if in any circumstance where the swordsman would be denied his Dexterity bonus to AC.

Sweet spot (Ex): When a swordsman is wearing no armour, he can add his wis mod to dmg if positive maximum 5 at level 1 this increases by 2 every five levels.

Extra feat: A swordsman gains extra feats as a fighter, and is thus eligible for fighter feats.

Versatile sword (Ex): When a swordsman is wielding a onehanded/twohanded sword, he may elect to use his sword as a +2 heavy steel shield instead of attack on his next turn.
