In real life
I'm a resident Brit, who, when not editing wikis, spends his time listening to ELO and Justice and seducing West Country villagers. In Fable. I even dabble in warping the fabric of space-time with a Portal gun, before saving the galaxy from the Reapers.
In years gone by, I also created a popular addon for World of Warcraft called ClearFont.
- Why "Kirkburn"?
- No particular reason. I've used it since the mid-1990s, after throwing two random words together to create a character name.
I have no connection to the English town of Kirkburn. They stole my sword though.
Some stuff I've worked on
- As a product manager, I helped work on the editing experience, blog posts, commenting, the photo and video tools, category galleries, user profile pages, the gallery creator, polls, and much more...
- At SXSW 2008, I took part in a discussion panel regarding game wikis - report on Massively.com.
- I sometimes pop up at various Blizzard conventions, such as WWI 2008 and BlizzCon 2010.
