Spot on the Wall and Weak are the same?Edit

This is a highly amusing and suitably accurate race. However, I don't see the point of categorizing the levels of ability in five categories if you're only going to use three categories of level adjustment. --Foxwarrior 18:36, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I've got some commenting to do on the Magic Talents.
For starters, they're currently unusable in a game. Why so? Well, let's start with the Spot on the Wall ability "Creating a spot on a wall". What is the duration/range/DC to resist or dispel/spell level of this ability? Is it affected by spell resistance? The action I suppose defaults to a standard action to use. Anyways, moving on, I take it that each xanthian only gets one Magic Talent of the player's choice upon character creation? Some of the other abilities are flavorful but don't explain how they would work mechanically in the game as a benefit.
This gives you an opportunity but will provide you with a lot of extra work. You could make your own kind of thing like 3.5e Class Ability Components... but for a race and not a class. This would allow you to spell out all the details of each ability and keep a summary on an auto-generating list on the race's page. A lot of work, yeah, but it's likely a step you'll have to take after some research.
That's about what I have for now as I'm sure I'll chat you up later, Marksman. --Ganteka Future 19:06, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
