Since there's a three second fuse and a combat round is only six seconds, I think it might be fitting (and more sensible mechanically) to make throwing a pipe bomb a standard action (especially given that throwing it involves priming the explosive, cooking it and then throwing it. That way, you could even justify more damage since it's an exotic weapon (to make it worth the extra feat for proficiency) and maybe even a removal of the Reflex save so rogues/monks can't just evade their way out of it.
Plus one more nitpick: Explosions usually deal all three kinds of damage (piercing, bludgeoning, and slashing) so I think you could say that instead of "Exploding" as a damage type. - TG Cid 22:08, August 21, 2010 (UTC)
