Love the class. Anticipate is a sweet ability and I like it. Anyway, I was wondering why you think of this class as a melee class? I noticed you listed the Advancement Examples as Assassin, Shadowdancer, and Duelist. Also the NPC holds a halberd. I would have expected a ranged combatant. Someone who can shoot you with a bow but you can never catch them. Or is this one of those ninja things? Good job here. --Jay Freedman 07:50, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- The main reason this doesn't work for ranged attackers is because it doesn't give an extra source of damage to ranged attacks. Where most ranged attackers need a secondary source of damage, the MW shoehorns characters becoming chargers (Leap Attack + Shock Trooper), since virtually all of its combat abilities make you a better charger and that's the primary reason to take it. If you went with a bow and continually ran away, you'd be stuck turtling the whole time, which in D&D is virtually never a good option. --Ghostwheel 08:04, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
this class would stack very well with User:ThunderGod Cid's Tenken (3.5e Class), making an already fast character be even more effective at charging around the battlefield. --Azerinth 23:36, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
