:Theoretically, yes, but in practicality, no. Since the chrysalis is vulnerable to the same effects as a ''resilient sphere'', a well-prepared opponent can probably break it without too much trouble. If anything, it's most practical use is most likely as a resting aid to make it so you don't need to be healed. Its use in combat probably shouldn't be your first option. Now, if you're desperate and about to die, it could save your life (which is a good thing), but since no encounter would last the amount of time needed for your to fully regenerate, the scenario of them waiting around for you to come out doesn't seem likely. - [[User:ThunderGod Cid|TG Cid]] 17:27, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

::Well, what if you are fighting a flock of Rocs? They wouldn't have the means to use a magic item to get you out, or have any spells to use against it either. --[[User:Mock Turtle|Mock Turtle]] 06:37, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

Wondering

If you are in battle, and losing, can you just full-round yourself into a chrysalis and just spend a day or two in there, till you heal back up to full health, then burst out and continue fighting? You are immune to attack while in there, after all. --Mock Turtle 15:12, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
