This living version of a singularity spell is driven by a singular need to consume.
Living sungularities are smaller versions of the real thing, but by no means less dangerous. They are roughly 20 feet in diameter and have negligible weight.
This creature is created with the Living Spell template from MM3.
Engulf (Ex): A living singularity can flow around creatures that fit within its space as a standard action. It cannot make a slam attack during a round in which it engulfs. The living singularity merely has to move over the creatures, affecting as many as it can cover. Creatures can make attacks of opportunity against the living singularity, but if they do they are not entitled to a saving throw against the engulf ability. Those who do not attempt attacks of opportunity must succeed on a DC 23 Reflex save or be engulfed and drawn into the living singularity's space; on a success, they are merely rebuked, pushed back or aside (opponent's choice) as the singularity moves forward. Engulfed creatures are subject to the full normal effects of the singularity spell.
Spell Effect (Su): A creature hit by a living singularity's slam attack is subjected to the normal effects of the singularity spell (caster level 17th), as if it were within the singularity's area. Saves apply as normal for the spell; the DC is 23.
