Scathe Bile

{{#set:Summary=A deep blue acidic mixture that bubbles idly and will eat through any material.}}

Scathe Bile is a dangerous, blue acid that continually bubbles and froths up which can eat through virtually any material after just a moment of contact. Scathe Bile acts like normal acid, except it deals 1d10 points of damage per round of exposure (10d10 in the case of total immersion), and inhaling the fumes of Scathe Bile deals no Constitution damage, but instead inflicts nausea for one minute on a failed Fortitude save (DC 20).

A single flask of Scathe Bile can also be used as a splash weapon. Treat this attack as a ranged touch attack with a range increment of 15 feet. A direct hit deals 1d10 points of acid damage and forces the target to make a Fortitude save (DC 20) or be nausea for one minute. Every creature within 5 feet of the point where the flask hits takes 1d6 point of acid damage from the splash. Additionally, all who are damaged by Scathe Bile are inflicted with mind-splitting pain as their very skin melts, granting all who attempt to intimidate the creature a +3 circumstance bonus to their intimidate check.

A character with the bringer of agony feat can brew up a single flask of Scathe Bile in 4 hours time with a DC 22 Craft (Alchemy) check, while using up 70 gp worth of raw material. The materials used in brewing Scathe Bile are inconspicuous and can be found in any average human marketplace.

A single flask of Scathe Bile costs 210 gp and contains about 1 pint of Scathe Bile.
