1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

The Runner's Bliss is in essence a sickle with a 1,5 handed elongated handle. The blade is rounded on the inside of the curve and sharpened on the outside, so that a cross section of the blade resembles a raindrop. The handle is covered in leather straps or wire for added grip, and the blade is securely fastened onto the handle so that the hook can handle a large amount of stress without breaking. The Runner's Bliss is favored by tree-based woodelves and 3D-inclined rogues, as it can be used to hook around a treebranch, rope or roofbeam to swing over an opponent, or to break a fall, or just to swing. Because the inside of the hook is rounded, there is no danger of cutting a rope you intent to use for breaking your fall. That would suck.

The inner cutting edge is lost, but in return the Runner's Bliss can be used to brachiate. This translates into a +4 on reflex saves to avoid falling and a +4 on some jump and tumble checks, under DM's discretion.

Proficient users can use the hook to defend themselves, granting them a +1 shield bonus to AC.

Off course, the hook is perfectly suitable to make trip attempts. You can drop the Runner's Bliss to avoid being tripped when you fail your trip attempt, as I am sure you've already worked out.
