Summary::Ropheus is the god of luck, travel, the poor and using wits to defeat an opponent instead of brute force.

Ropheus appears to be an exceptionally tall halfling with a smile that reaches his eyes and reveals a mischievous nature. He dresses in simple robes yet seems to be able to pull any number of items from within. It often appears as though Ropheus knows about a joke that no one else sees coming.

In his presence one feels refreshed and alive. The vibrancy of the simple act of being alive brings a splendid sense of happiness to the soul.

Dogma[]

Luck is merely being able to maximize any opportunity. Never consider yourself defeated until you rest for the final time. Look at opportunities to travel as blessings and let your feet never grow to soft as the trail will always welcome you. When conflict occurs do not over rely on the weapons of man, instead use your mind to outwit your foes. Always give other travelers the benefit of your fire knowing that there will be a time when you will need theirs. Never allow the strong to bully others and seek always to revel in the freedom of travel for this is a right given to all creatures.

Clergy and Temples[]

The clergy of Ropheus is far from organized in any way. They travel the width and breadth of the world of Paradime seeking adventure and the next great tale. They often can be found in areas with a great deal of poor people where they work hard to better these lives through showing the ways of wit and guile.

Ropheus has no temples and feels he is best worshiped by the miles traveled by a person than the things made. However there are few houses within Altinia that do not have some kind of shrine devoted to the god of luck and travel.

Pantheon[]

Ropheus is the lover of Amberra and a thorn in the side of most lawful and evil deities. He truly despises Yith and Alafax and often goes out of his way to cause them problems. However, he has a strong alliance with Firsh (the god of freedom) and the two have been known to work together to forment rebellion in places where tyranny has taken root.
