Cat proximity

This is how it works.

Illusion (Figment)
Level: Sorcerer/Wizard 6
Components: V, S, M
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Effect or Area: A kitty plus cuteness aura in a 60-ft.-radius spread around kitty
Duration: 1 minute/level
Saving Throw: Will negates or none (see text)
Spell Resistance: Yes

An illusory kitty of overwheming cuteness appears in a 5-foot square you designate. The kitty lounges and sprawls about harmlessly and further functions as a persistent image in kitty form (tactile element incluis). People simply want to have a closer look, and any enemy creature within 60 feet that can perceive the kitty must make a Will save or drop anything they are currently doing in order to try and approach the kitty in any way they can. This compulsory effect cannot otherwise force a creature to pursue a suicidal or obviously harmful course of action (such as jumping down a cliff, or wading through lava). If compelled to approach the kitty, a creature will suffer through varying levels of intellectual degradation as it gets closer.

60 to 30 feet from Kitty: What's with this supernatural cuteness? You start to lose sight of what you're supposed to be doing; -4 penalty to your Intelligence and Wisdom scores (to a minimum of half their normal values), -10 penalty to all Concentration checks.

30 to 10 feet from Kitty: This kitty is simply the best kitty ever. You must have it, and share your love of it with everybody. Your Intelligence and Wisdom scores are halved and you can't make any Concentration checks at all. Within this sphere, there is no good or bad, no friend or foe. There exists no animosity between kitty-lovers. Your alignment changes to 'kitty', and you are automatically neutral towards other creatures that display affection towards the kitty.

Less than 10 feet from Kitty: Stupefied by cuteness, your Intelligence and Wisdom scores both drop to 1. You still cannot make any Concentration checks. You are so entranced by the kitty that you are effectively confused, except that any result indicating a hostile action or attempt to flee can be interpreted as 'try to pet the kitty', and that a result of 'act normally' merely means that you may choose whether or not to try to pet the kitty.

Any damage taken while under the effect of this spell allows a creature another Will save to shake off this effect.

Material Component: Some catnip.
