Prismatic Spirit [Type::Spelltouched] Summary::You eventually become immune to prismatic spells, while using the light to your own advantage. Prerequisites: [[Prerequisite::Exposure to any [Light] or "prismatic" spell.]]Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus on saving throws against any [Light] subtype spells and any of the "prismatic" series of spells (that being spells with prismatic in their name such as prismatic spray or prismatic sphere). You also gain light as a spell-like ability, usable at will, with a caster level equal to 1/2 your HD. In addition you gain several benefits against prismatic effects which scale with your character level.
1 HD: You are immune to the "red" effect of a prismatic spell. After being struck with this effect you have fire immunity for 1 round.
3 HD: You are immune to the "orange" effect of a prismatic spell. After being struck with this effect you have acid immunity for 1 round.
6 HD: You are immune to the "yellow" effect of a prismatic spell. After being struck with this effect you have electrical immunity for 1 round.
9 HD: You are immune to the "green" effect of a prismatic spell. After being struck with this effect you have become immune to poison for 1 round, and purge any poisons you are currently under as if neutralize poison was cast upon you.
12 HD: You are immune to the "blue" effect of a prismatic spell. After being struck with this effect you have damage reduction 10/adamantine for 1 round.
15 HD: You are immune to the "indigo" effect of a prismatic spell. After being struck with this effect you have immunity to mind-affecting effects for 1 round.
18 HD: You are immune to the "violet" effect of a prismatic spell. After being struck with this effect you have immunity to death-effects for 1 round.
You are immune to any prismatic spells you yourself cast, but do not gain the secondary benefits for being struck by a color, so it is not a viable means of brief self-buffing. While under the secondary effects, you shine with rainbow lights in all directions, shedding light as a torch for the duration.
