This spell functions like persistent image, except as described above. In addition, the illusion becomes extremely hostile to those who would disbelieve it, causing insanity for one round per level of the caster in any victim who successfully disbelieves the illusion. No saving throw is allowed against the insanity effect, although spell resistance applies normally.
