Class FeaturesEdit
All of the following are class features of the phalanx.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A phalanx is proficient with all simple weapons and with all armor (heavy, medium, and light) but not with any shields.
Spear Mastery: A phalanx trains almost exclusively to use the spear (not shortspear or longspear) and is far more effective with it than other weapons. The phalanx adds his phalanx level to damage rolls with a spear when making melee attacks with it. A phalanx is also treated as a fighter of equal level when qualifying for feats related to the spear.

Bonus Feats: The epic phalanx gains a bonus feat every three levels after 20th.
