Penguinus[]

Summary::Steampunk Techpriests

Personality[]

Penguinus are inquisitive in nature, often employed by airship crews to keep the engines of the ships functioning proper and fixing anything that might be an issue. As such, penguinus are a neutral race, working only for pay and the pursuit of research. They avoid combat as much as possible, as they lack any real physical advantages over the other races, often using magic or technology adapted for their use.

Physical Description[]

Penguinus are the descendants of emperor penguins, growing up to around four and a half feet, and up to around one hundred pounds, a little larger than their ancestors. Their heads and sides are usually colored black, yellow-white breast, and yellow patches around the ears. Their bodies are designed for low oxygen environs, their bones are strong enough withstand sudden changes in pressure, and are capable of shutting down non-essential body functions.

Relations[]

Penguinus make sure that their neutrality is observed, as well as their status as scientists and researchers. They are unparalleled with the inner workings of the engines of steam-powered vehicles, and are rarely killed by enemy forces, rather offered a better deal or deportation back to the Southern Wastes.

Alignment[]

Penguinus vary in alignment, leaning more towards lawful alignments, much like the clockwork that they deal with. But chaotic isn't uncommon, like the steam they work with.

Lands[]

Penguinus live in the Southern Wastes, a barren and frozen wasteland. As a whole, they hate warmer climates, and find themselves right at home in the frigid clouds and high climates where their bodies are acclimated to the chill.

Religion[]

Penguinus are, for the most part, atheist in nature.
