'''{{Anchor|Hide in Plain Sight}}:''' A Nefas can use the Hide skill even while being observed. As long as it is within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, a Nefas can hide itself from view in the open without anything to actually hide behind. A Nefas cannot, however, hide in its own shadow.

The strategy of a Nefas depends on stealth rather than overt force.
The strategy of a Nefas depends on stealth rather than overt force. Utilizing their Hide in Plain Sight ability, individual Nefas will attempt to observe potential targets, for hours if necessary, until presented with the opportunity to strike. Nefas warbands work by the same principle, sending out scouts to learn the capabilities of targets before attacking in the night, when the Nefas are at the greatest advantage. Once combat is joined, Nefas spread out, attempting to isolate pockets of resistance within overlapping cold auras.

'''Typical Physical Characteristics:'''
'''Typical Physical Characteristics:''' Nefas were formed from the essence of incredibly corrupted elves, and thus share some physical characteristics. A typical Nefas is relatively thin, their strength hidden in wiry cords of muscle. Further, the Nefas possess the pointed ears and almond eyes of the elves. However, this is where the similarities end. A typical Nefas stands seven feet tall, accentuating their graceful appearance. A Nefas' skin is uniformly blue-white, the color of new ice, and their eyes are entirely black save for bright blue pupils. Nefas hair grows long, and is most commonly white, though rare (and lucky) individuals are born with hair as black as pitch.
