Divinities come in a staggering variety, each being the servant of a major god. Some are angelic beauties, taking wing on flying mounts. Others are sinister shadows, dragging the unfaithful to a fate worse than death. They are often created directly through their master's will as it bends the raw stuff of magic into custom made servants. Others are the spirits of faithful followers who, having passed, have been given a position in their deity's host.

Some rarest of divinities are taken while they were still alive, made immortal while their souls are still intact. These beings are not only still capable of rebelling against their masters, they are still able to create soul bearing offspring. The offspring of these divinities are called either Aasimar of Tiefling.
