So, the Aptitude feat as written suggests that you can use otherwise super restrictive "choose 1 weapon to apply this to" feats with an aptitude weapon of a different type. Which is useful, but not particularly interesting, and not the problematic thing that other conversations going on around here would suggest it is.

So what other sorts of cheese can you swing with it? I don't particularly want to do any of it, I just realized I never even though about possibilities with that ability and was hoping that someone who had could shed some light on the subject (thus saving me from thinking about it :-) - TarkisFlux 20:22, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

This thread offers some ways to use this. --Be well 11:09, March 24, 2010 (UTC)
Blood in the Water stance (+1 Attack/Damage per crit), Improved Critical (Doubles Threat Range), Disciple of Dispater 8 (Triples Threat Range, stacks), Roundabout Kick, Lightning Maces, TWF chain, aptitude Kukri. 9-20 threat range, additional attack on a threat, additional attack on a crit. >50% chance of getting an extra attack, >40% chance of getting two extra attacks. You'll have attacks until you statistically roll a lot of 1s. This only works if you can hit your enemy, of course.
