A strong magnetic barrier surrounds you, causing metal objects to bend and twist out of your path. You are completely immune to mundane metal-tipped projectiles such as most arrows and bolts. Against magical projeciles, you gain a +6 circumstance bonus to your armor class. The power also works against melee attacks by metallic weapons, but you only gain the +6 bonus against nonmagical metal weapons, and half that bonus (+3) against magical metallic weapons.
Your melee attacks are unaffected by your field, but your own metal-tipped projectiles are hampered by this power. Nonmagical projectiles you fire take a -6 penalty to their attack rolls, and magical projectiles take half the penalty (-3).
Augment: For every 2 PP you spend, you may increase the bonus to your armor class (and penalty to your projectile attack rolls) by 1. By spending 4 PP, you may increase the duration to 10 minute/level, or by spenting 8 PP, increase the duration to 1 hour/level.
