Electric Creature[]

Summary::Although they resemble creatures found on other planes, electric creatures are found on the Elemental Plane of Electricity. Electric creatures tend to have shades of yellow or blue in their coloring. These creatures are quick and tough with powers and control of their elemental nature.

Creating an Electric Creature[]

“Electric” is an inherited or acquired template that can be applied to any creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature).

A electric creature uses all the base creature’s statistics and abilities except as noted here. Do not recalculate the creature’s Hit Dice, base attack bonus, saves, or skill points if its type changes.

Size and Type[]

Animals or vermin with this template become magical beasts. If the creature is a member of another type, its type is unchanged. Electric creatures gain the Electricity Subtype.

Size is unchanged.

Special Attacks[]

An electric creature gains the following special abilities:

  • Discharge (Ex): An electric creature's body flows with intense amounts of electricity. Its unarmed attacks and natural weapons deal 1 extra point of electricity damage. Any metallic weapons that it wields also conduct this electrical charge.
  • Shocking Grasp (Sp): 1/day. Caster level equal to the creature’s HD. Save DC is Charisma-based.

Special Qualities[]

An electric creature retains all the special qualities of the base creature and also gains the following.

Abilities[]

Increase the creature's ability scores:

Dexterity +2, Constitution +4.

Challenge Rating[]

HD 3 or less, as base creature.
