Recently, the Empire has been falling apart. Disease has torn apart the land. The Empire used to have a population of several million, but three-quarters of them have died and the remaining million people are sick and dying.
It has been rumoured that the bad disease has been caused by an evil sorcerer, and that evil sorcerer was supposedly hired by a neighbouring empire. Because of that, the two civilizations are now at war, and the war killed thousands of men as well.
You have been hired by the Emperor to find the cause of this disease, and destroy it. You are due to meet the Emperor in his palace this afternoon. After spending the night at a nearby inn, you go to the palace in Megapolis. Go bravely with the Empire and your god!
