The Inner Planes are comprised of the four elements; the fundamental forces which serve as the building blocks of the Prime Material Plane:
- Fire
- Earth
- Water
- Air
Also included with these four are the Positive and Negative Energy Planes, which radiate the power of life and death, respectively.
Although each Inner Plane is infinite, they also have edges where they overlap with each other, creating the Para-Elemental Planes:
Fire - Magma - Earth
Earth - Ooze/Mud - Water
Water - Ice - Air
Air - Smoke - Fire
In addition to overlapping with each other, the four elemental planes connect to the Positive Energy and Negative Energy planes, creating the Quasi-Elemental Planes:
Positive Quasi-Elements:
Fire - Radiance
Earth - Mineral
Water - Steam
Air - Lightning
Negative Quasi-Elements:
Fire - Ash
Earth - Dust
Water - Salt
Air - Vacuum
