Fluttering in the air is a colorful butterfly, and as you watch the flurry of colors you feel your focus slip away.
Dizzywing Homunculi are creatures created by the spell Ell's Handy Homunculus. They make fine scouts, and can daze an enemy if they need to escape. With their tumble score they weave and dodge out of danger, which is good, because the creature has no means of causing damage.
It is noted for it's superior speed (for a handy homunculus anyway) and it's strange ability to taste. It is not certain why it needs such an ability, but it does indeed taste with its feet, and can transfer the sense of taste to its master if desired. Left alone, the dizzywing will land on many things and acquire preferred tastes.
While generally constructs are neutral, a homunculi picks up the alignment of its creator on casting.
Handy homunculi make poor weapons. With no means of attack, it can only dodge and daze its enemies.
The body is made of cloth and wood, with the core crystal often embedded in the central body. A drop of the caster's blood dyes the cloth, which spreads into an inkblot pattern of hypnotic colors on casting Ell's Handy Homunculus. The entire cost of supplies equals 500 gp.
Assembling the body requires a DC 15 Craft (weaving) or Craft (woodwork) check.
