Bond of the Scorpion [{{#arraymap: Symbiotic|, |x|Type::x}}] Summary::Your bond with the scorpions that crawl across you has grown to a disturbing degree, and you have started to take on even more of their traits. Prerequisites: {{#arraymap: Aspect of the Vermin class feature, Aspect of the Scorpion.|,|x|Prerequisite::x}}Benefit: [Symbiotic] feats increase the effectiveness of your [Hivemaster] feats. For your aspect of the scorpion feat, you are considered to have one more level in hivemaster. The individual benefits of that feat are also altered, as follows.

3: Scorpions are more adapted to warm climates, and certain breeds of scorpions can even survive comfortably in the hottest deserts in the world. You have started to take on this trait, and can now survive indefinitely in temperatures up to 140 degrees fahrenheit without having to make fortitude saves.

7: The scorpion is well known for its tough, dark exoskeleton, which, under a blacklight, is actually known to glow. This exoskeleton provides them with a powerful defense, and in turn, so does yours. You gain spell resistance equal to 8 + your hivemaster level. If you already had spell resistance, then you instead gain a +4 increase to that spell resistance.

11: Scorpion venom is very potent, containing many different neurotoxins and compounds that reduce a creatures ability to function. In turn, the venom that your stinger carries because of the original aspect of the scorpion feat begins to grow more potent, now inflicting 1d6+2 strength damage on a failed fortitude save (1d10+2 strength damage at level 14).

15: The stinger of the scorpion is deadly to many creatures, and can cripple them for life, should they survive the initial onslaught. You have taken on this trait as well, and now, whenever you strike a creature with your stinger attack, you elect whether the poison it carries will deal strength damage, or strength drain.

Special: A character can only have a number of [Symbiotic] feats equal to the number of times that they have gained the Aspect of the Vermin class feature.
