1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
Black Eggs are used by ninjas as a distraction to obtain attacks of opportunity or to get away quickly. There are two types of Black Eggs: Fine Glass and Pepper liquid. They are both simulator with two differences.
A Fine Glass Black Egg blurs the sight of the effected for 1+ 1d4 rounds causing all checks that involve sight to take a -2 such as spot and search checks and taking a -2 on attack rolls. Costs 20.
A Pepper Liquid Black Eggs blinds the effected for 1+ 1d4 rounds causing all checks that involve sight such as spot and search to fail automatically and takes a -6 on attack rolls. Costs 40.
Also when using a Black Egg it must be aimed at the face. Because of this if the user is throwing if from further than 5 feet they take a -4 on the roll. However, if the user is 5 feet or less they only take a -2 on the roll.
In order to make one one must be able to craft weapons and have the following:
Eggs
Sealing wax
1 small pick
Funnel
Black paint
Glass ground to a fine powder or a A liquid made with a mix of hot pepper juices and water.
The eggs are drained of the yoke first at the bottom using a careful hand. Ten it is filled with whatever contents are maker chooses. After that the sealing wax is placed on the hole where the yoke was drained and the filling was added. It is then painted black so a ninja can have them on it's belt and and not be seen. Because of the amount of time it takes and the steady hand needed to make this is it a DC of 18.
If one is trying to spot them on the ninja it is a DC of 20. However, if the ninja has them on it's belt and they are not in the ninja garb it is a DC of 5.
