Exotic Two-Handed Projectile
1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
The biplanar force gun 9000 series, known in shorthand as the BFG-9000, is a powerful and frightening alien weapon developed by the gokiburi. This massive two handed weapon is barely portable and requires a Str of 15 to operate. Using strange technologies not yet known to the common world it manages to create a massive disruption wave between planes, dealing tremendous amounts of force damage to everyone within a wide area. The kickback is intense, and the cooldown and firing times take a while, but it is considered a siege weapon, the damage is not halved before applying hardness to objects, and a single one can devastate a battlefield, and because it is technological in origin it is an extraordinary effect.
As a full attack action you may fire a large bolt of pale green force energy. A direct hit deal 5d6 force damage with no save. Regardless if it hits or misses, the ball promptly explodes, dealing 20d6 force damage in a 30 ft. radius burst (including the target at center), with a Reflex save for half. The DC is based on 10 + 1/2 your BAB + Dex modifier. The main target, if hit by the ranged attack, does not get a save. BFG-9000's use energy cells as ammunition, and require a full round action to reload.
BFG-9000's are automatically masterwork by their construction.
