Big Guy [Type::Archetype] Summary::You are simply big and built like a bull. Heck, your family used ''you'' to ''pull'' the plow! Prerequisites: Prerequisite::1st level character, [[Prerequisite::Str 16+]]Benefit: See belowSpecial: If you ever stop qualifying for this feat, you can trade it for another archetype feat you meet the prerequisites.

Archetype Feat Bonus are based on HD.

  • 1 HD: You Hit Hard (when applying your character’s Strength modifier to damage or for breaking down doors treat your strenght score as 4 points higher) and are a Big One (whenever a you are subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for a check you get a +2 bonus, such as during grapple checks, bull rush attempts, and trip attempts).
  • 3 HD: Draft animal: You suffer no reduction in movement while under a medium or heavy load, or while wearing medium or heavy armor (but Dex mod and Armor Check penalties still aply). You can carry things as if your strenght score was 2 points higher.
  • 8 HD: You gain Powerful Build: Your physical stature lets you function in many ways as if you were one size category larger. Whenever you are subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for an opposed check (such as during grapple checks, bull rush attempts, and trip attempts), you are treated as one size larger if doing so is advantageous (this stacks with the Big One bonus). You are also considered to be one size larger when determining whether a creature’s special attacks based on size (such as improved grab or swallow whole) can affect you. You can use weapons designed for a creature one size larger without penalty. However, your space and reach remain those of a creature of your actual size. The benefits of this feat stack with the effects of powers, abilities, and spells that change the subject’s size category.
  • 15 HD: Overwhelming Blow: You hit like an Ogre. As a full-round action make a single melee attack; this attack and all other melee attacks you make until the start of your next turn deal double their usual damage.
